Regency Steel Buildings provided this prefabricated mini storage building for a customer in Hurley, Mississippi, in March of 2022.
Now serving as part of a self-storage business, the insulated Regency Storage Systems metal mini storage building is an expansive 60’x200’x8.5’ in size and comprised of rugged, quality steel components. Overhead, a corrosion-resistant Galvalume gable roof with a slight 0.5:12 pitch offers protection from the elements, and gutters and downspouts installed along the roof line help protect the mini storage building from condensation.
Inside the steel mini storage building are (82) rentable storage units. There are (2) 10’x5’ units with 8’x7’ framed door openings, (2) 7.5’x5’ storage units with 4’x7’ framed door openings and (39) 10’x10’ storage units with 8’x7’ framed door openings. Also included are (39) 10’x15’ units with 8’x7’ framed door openings and (3) 5’ painted hallways systems. The building also has heavy-duty, 29-gauge partitions with Galvalume finishes serving as dividers between storage units.
Inside the roof and walls of the self-storage building are 4” layers of insulation with WMP-VRR facing. A high, 158-mph wind speed rating serves an additional customization made with respect for the area’s typical climate characteristics and current building codes.
Part of southern Mississippi’s Pascagoula metro area, the city of Hurley sits 23 miles south of Lucedale and 24 miles north of Pascagoula.
