Mini Storage Building Kit in Wetumka, Alabama

Regency Steel Buildings delivered this prefabricated steel mini storage building to a customer in Wetumpka, Alabama, in June of 2022.

Supplied for a repeat Mini Storage Outlet customer, the metal building now functions as a self-storage business and is comprised of rugged, high-quality steel components. When raised, the mini storage building is 40’x140’x9.5’, and overhead, it features an ultra-durable Galvalume gable roof that resists corrosion and has a 0.5:12 pitch.

Inside the Regency Storage Systems mini storage building are (40) rentable storage units. There are (24) 10’x20’ units, each with a 9’x8’ framed door opening, and (16) 5’x10’ storage units with 4’x8’ framed door openings. Each storage unit has its own door allowing access inside, and in total, the self-storage business has (24) 9’x8’ Wasabi Green Model 650 mini storage doors and (16) 4’x8’ Wasabi Green Model 650 mini storage doors, all of which have high-quality stainless-steel latch hardware.

The hallways that provide access to the storage units feature bright Brilliant White paint, and 29-gauge partitions with Galvalume finishes break up the interior of the building, dividing it into separate storage units. DripX Condensation Control helps enhance the water-tightness of the roof, and a 3.5-psf roof snow load and a 115-mph wind rating are additional features that keep the mini storage building compliant with local building codes.

Part of Elmore County in central Alabama, the city of Wetumpka is part of the Montgomery metro area. It sits about 28 miles south of Rockford and about 17 miles northeast of Prattville.
