Regency Steel Buildings sourced this pair of prefabricated mini storage buildings in Freeland, Michigan, in June of 2021.
Now serving as a self-storage facility, the (2) equal-in-size Regency Steel metal buildings stand 40’x180’x14.33’/16’ and feature durable, quality steel construction. Overhead, each mini storage building has a single-slope Galvalume steel roof with a 0.5:12 pitch, and between them, they contain (20) rentable 18’x40’ storage units.
Each storage unit has its own 12’x14’ point of entry enclosing one of (20) 12’x14’ Model 1000 roll-coil doors with lever locks and closers. There are also heavy-duty, 29-gauge partition panels with Galvalume finishes dividing each unit from the next. On the roof, the metal mini storage buildings have gutters, downspouts and DripX condensation control, all of which help prevent water from getting inside and damaging stored goods.
A 29.4-psf roof snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating are additional customizations made in line with local building code requirements. Part of Tittabawassee Township, Saginaw County and Michigan’s Saginaw – Midland – Bay metropolitan area, Freeland is about an 18-mile drive from Bay City.
