Mini Storage Buildings Supplied in Alger, Ohio

Regency Steel Buildings secured these (2) metal mini-storage buildings in Alger, Ohio, in July of 2022.

Durable, sustainable, and engineered for life in the Midwest, the (2) buildings together function as a self-storage business and have many customizations throughout. Both buildings are the same size, standing 24’x200’x8.5’, and both have corrosion-resistant Galvalume gable roofs with 0.5:12 pitches offering protection overhead. While they look the same on the outside, the (2) steel mini-storage buildings differ on the inside.

The first one, Building A, contains (6) 6’x10’ units with 4’x7’ framed openings, (36) 10’x12’ storage units with 9’x7’ framed openings, and (1) 10’x12’ unit with (1) 4’x7’ framed door opening. Building B houses (6) 6’x10’ units with 4’x7’ framed door openings and (37) 10’x12’ units with 9’x7’ framed door openings.

Both self-storage buildings have hardy 29-gauge partitions separating the storage units inside, and between them, they feature (86) doors. Included are (12) 4’x7’ and (73) 9’x7’ doors, all of which are Model 650 doors with stainless-steel latch hardware. There is also (1) 4070 opening enclosing (1) 4070 half-glass steel entry door with panic hardware, a closer, and a lever entry.

The mini storage buildings have several features that act as barriers against condensation including gutter, downspouts, and DripX condensation control pre-applied to their roofs. They also have 15.12-PSF snow loads and 115-mph wind speed ratings in adherence to local building and engineering codes.

Located in western Ohio, the village of Alger is part of Hardin County. It sits about 163 miles outside Cleveland and about 4 miles south of Ada.
