Regency Steel Buildings supplied this pair of pre-engineered mini storage buildings in Elwood, Utah, in April of 2022.
Now functioning as a self-storage business, the (2) buildings contain (112) rentable storage units between them, generating a regular stream of revenue for the business owner. Comprised of rugged, quality steel components, the first Regency Storage systems mini storage building, Building A, is 40’x180’x8.5’ in size, while the larger structure, Building B, is 40’x380’x8.5’.
Overhead, each building sports an ultra-durable Galvalume gable roof with a slight 0.5:12 pitch, and the roofs have DripX condensation control pre-applied to them. Both steel mini-storage buildings also contain heavy-duty 29-gauge partition panels with Galvalume finishes, which serve as dividers between storage units.
Inside Building A are (9) 10’x25’ storage units, (18) 10’x20’ units, and (9) 10’x15’ units. Each storage unit has its own 9’x7’ framed door opening that gives its renter private access inside. Building B houses (19) 10’x25’ storage units, (38) 10’x20’ units, and (19) 10’x15’ storage units. All storage units in the complex have their own door, and between them, the (2) mini storage buildings contain (112) 9’x7 Model 650 mini storage doors with stainless-steel latches.
The self-storage buildings also have 30-PSF snow loads and 115-mph wind ratings in compliance with local building codes. Located in Box Elder County in northwestern Utah, Elwood sits about 36 miles northwest of Ogden and about 70 miles northwest of Salt Lake City.
