Mini Storage Building Kits in Wetumpka, Alabama

Regency Steel Buildings supplied this trio of prefabricated mini storage buildings for a repeat customer in Wetumpka, Alabama, in April of 2022.

Insulated, energy-efficient, and highly customized throughout, the Regency Steel Buildings mini storage buildings together create a self-storage facility. Comprised of rugged, reliable steel components, the first mini storage building, Building A, is 100’x110’x9.5’ in size, while Building B is 40’x180’x9.5’. The third metal building in the complex, Building C, stands 40’x160’x9.5’ once constructed, and they all have hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel gable roofs with 0.5:12 pitches offering protection from above.

Inside Building A are (1) 20’x20’ storage unit, (9) 10’x30’ units, (19) 10’x20’ units, and (21) 10’x10’ units, all of which have 9’x8’ framed door openings. There are also (8) 5’x10’ storage units with 4’x8’ framed door openings.

Building B contains (34) 10’x20’ storage units with 9’x8’ openings and (8) 5’x10’ units with 4’x8’ openings, while Building C houses (30) 10’x20’ units with 9’x8’ framed door openings and (8) 5’x10’ units with 4’x8’ openings. Each storage unit in the complex also features one of (114) 9’x8’ or (24) 4’x8’ Wasabi Green Model 650 mini storage doors with stainless-steel latch hardware.

Also distributed among the (3) metal mini storage buildings are (2) 4070 door openings enclosing (2) 4070 half-glass steel entry doors and a 4’ parapet wall along one mini storage building’s left end wall. Building A also features an insulation package and has 4” of insulation with a vapor inhibitor installed in its roof and walls.

Buildings B and C both have DripX condensation control applied to their roofs, which helps keep them watertight, and all (3) buildings also have White 26-gauge hallways and heavy-duty 29-gauge partition panels with Galvalume finishes separating the storage units inside. All (3) mini storage buildings also comply with all relevant building and engineering codes in place in Wetumpka and boast 115-mph wind ratings and 3.5-psf snow loads.

Part of the Montgomery, Alabama metro area, the city of Wetumpka falls within the borders of Elmore County. It sits about 16 miles from Montgomery and about 12 miles outside Millbrook.
