Regency Steel Buildings provided this prefabricated steel mini storage building in Remlap, Alabama in February of 2021.
Engineered by Regency Storage Systems, the building now functions as a self-storage facility and provides a safe, secure place for renters to store valuable goods and assets. When raised, the mini storage building stands 40’x100’x9.5’ in size, and overhead, it sports a heavy-duty Galvalume gable roof with a modest 0.5:12 pitch and a 2 5/8” WMP-VRR vapor barrier installed inside it.
The metal mini storage building contains (19) rentable storage units the owner rents out in exchange for a fee. There are (18) 10’x10’ storage units and (1) 10’x40’ storage unit. All (19) storage units have one of (19) 9’x7’ framed openings holding one of (19) 9’x8’ Model 650 mini storage doors in high-gloss White, and there are also 29-gauge partitions with Galvalume finishes separating the storage units.
Other notable features include gutters and downspouts that prevent water from pooling on the roof or near the metal building’s foundation and several climate-related accommodations, including a 10-psf roof snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.
Located in north-central Alabama, Remlap is part of Blount County. It sits about 12 miles southwest of Oneonta and 25 miles northeast of Birmingham.
