Regency Steel Buildings supplied these (4) metal mini storage buildings in Montrose, Colorado, in January of 2021.

Engineered by Regency Steel Buildings, the (3) mini storage buildings feature top-of-the-line steel construction and together serve as a self-storage facility. The first building, Building A, is 40’x100’x9.5’, while Buildings B, C and D are equal in size, with both standing 30’x100’x9.5’ when raised. Overhead, all (4) steel self-storage buildings feature hardwearing Galvalume gable roofs with mild 1:12 pitches.

In total, the metal self-storage business contains (84) rentable storage units in several different sizes. Building A contains (20) 10’x20’ storage units, each of which has one of (20) 9’x8’ framed door openings. Distributed between Buildings B and C are (20) 10’x10’ units and (20) 10’x20’ units, each of which features one of (40) 9’x8’ framed door openings.

Building D offers (6) 5’x10’ units with (5) 4’x8’ framed openings, (9) 10’x10’ storage units with (9) 9’x8’ framed openings and (9) 10’x20’ storage units, each of which has one of (9) 9’x8’ framed door openings. Each storage unit in the facility has its own door, and found throughout the mini storage complex are (6) 4’x8’ Model 650 mini storage doors and (78) 9’x8’ Model 650 mini storage doors.

Additional customizations include 3’ WMP-VRR vapor barriers in the buildings’ roofs, which, along with gutters and downspouts, help prevent condensation and water damage. The buildings also feature rugged, 29-gauge partition panels with Galvalume finishes functioning as dividers between storage units.

Regency Storage Systems also engineered the buildings to adhere to local building codes, adding 115-mph wind speed ratings and 30-psf roof snow loads during fabrication. Part of Montrose County in western Colorado, the city of Montrose sits about 64 miles outside Gunnison and about 60 miles southeast of Grand Junction.
