Regency Steel Buildings provided these (4) prefabricated steel mini storage buildings for a customer in Morgan, Utah, in early August of 2019.
Offering the strength and structural stability Utah construction demands, the (4) buildings feature premium-quality steel construction and together serve as a self-storage facility. Offering optimal protection for stored assets, the buildings all feature rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roofs with 0.5:12 pitches overhead, and they all differ in terms of size.
The first of the (4) metal mini storage buildings stands 30’x169’x14’ in size, while the second stands 48’x211’x16’. The third self-storage building, meanwhile, boasts a finished size of 75’x179’x16’, while the fourth and final building stands 35’x193’x14’ in size once erect.
Throughout the steel self-storage complex are (75) framed openings. Featured are (44) 10’x12’ overhead openings enclosing (44) 10’x12’ overhead doors and (31) 12’x14’ openings, each containing one of (31) 12’x14’ doors. A high, 58-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind load serve as supplemental characteristics added with respect for the variable climate of the area as well as the building codes in place across the region.
Part of the Ogden-Clearfield Metropolitan Area, Morgan sits within Morgan County, in north-central Utah. The community lies about 45 miles, by car, from Salt Lake City and about 60 miles outside Sandy.
