Self-Storage Building Kit in Moss Point, Mississippi

Regency Steel Buildings provided this prefabricated steel self-storage building in Moss Point, Mississippi, in February of 2022.

Durable, insulated, and climate-controlled, the Regency Steel Buildings mini storage building is 60’x70’x9.5’ in size once raised. Offering optimal strength and durability, the building provides steady protection for assets housed inside and generates a regular stream of revenue for the owner.

The Galvalume steel roof of the building has a gable design and a mild 1:12 pitch, and it has gutters and downspouts along it, helping prevent condensation and water damage. Inside the self-storage building are (30) storage units available for rent in an array of different sizes.

Distributed throughout the building are (2) 5’x10’ units with 3’6”x7’ door openings, (2) 5’x10’ units with 4’x7’ door openings and (2) 10’x10’ units with 8’6”x7’ openings. Also include are (10) 10’x10’ units with 9’x7’ framed door openings, (4) 10’x15’ units with 8’6”x7’ framed openings and (10) 10’x15’ units with 9’x7’ framed door openings. Diving the storage units are rugged, 29-gauge partitions with Galvalume finishes.

Some of the storage units have their own access points, and in total, the building contains (4) 4’x7’ entry doors with panic hardware, (2) 3’6”x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors and (6) 8’6”x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors. All doors are Bronze in color, and the building also has painted hallways, enhancing aesthetics.

In its roof and walls, the steel mini storage building contains 4” of WMP-VRR-faced insulation, which keeps energy bills low and stored goods at consistent temperatures. Located in southeastern Mississippi, Moss Point is part of Jackson County. Neighboring communities include Pascagoula and Escatawpa.
