Regency Steel Buildings supplied this steel mini storage building in Oconto, Nebraska, in 2015.
Now used for spare storage space, the prefabricated metal building boasts light stone-colored walls, white doors and red trim. Inside are 10’x10’ units with 9’x7’ framed openings and 10’x20’ units, also with 9’x7’ framed openings. Each unit has its own 9’x7’ model 650 mini storage roll-up door. A roof vapor barrier with 3” R-10 WMP-VRR-faced insulation is also included in the project, as are Nebraska engineer-stamped drawings, wedge anchors and fasteners, gutters and downspouts and 29-gauge partition panels with galvalume finishes. A wind speed of 90 mph, a ground snow load of 30 lbs. and a roof snow load of 21 lbs. were also engineered during construction.
A small village located in central Nebraska’s Custer County, Oconto was originally called Olax, and sits about 43 miles from Gothenburg and 26 miles outside Lexington.
