Pair of Self-Storage Buildings Supplied in Hardin, Kentucky

Regency Steel Buildings supplied this pair of metal mini storage buildings to a repeat customer in Hardin, Kentucky in November of 2022.

The owner, who already operates other Regency supplied self-storage facilities in other western Kentucky communities, purchased this pair of identical mini storage buildings to serve a growing consumer need for self-storage in and around Hardin. Each building is 30’x110’x10.75’/12′, making them suitable for traditional boat or RV storage, and each has (12) storage units and a galvalume single-slope roof with a 0.5:12 roof pitch and DripX condensation control pre-applied overhead.

All (40) storage units distributed between the buildings are 11’x30′, and each has one of (20) 10’x8′ mini storage doors with stainless steel latches granting each renter access inside. The roofs of the self-storage buildings have gutters and downspouts that help prevent condensation and water damage, and both buildings also contain heavy duty steel partitions that separate the storage units inside.

Both structures also feature 12.6-psf snow loads and 115-mph wind loads to meet local building code requirements. Situated in western Kentucky, Hardin is part of Marshall County. It lies roughly 20 miles from Mayfield and about 37 miles southeast of Paducah.
