Pair of Self-Storage Building Kits in Lakehills, Texas

Regency Steel Buildings sent this pair of prefabricated metal self-storage buildings to a client in Lakehills, Texas, in August 2022.

Designed to serve traditional storage needs, the (2) metal mini storage buildings contain (40) storage units separated by heavy-duty 29-gauge dividers and keep renter goods safe and protected against potential theft, bad weather and other hazards. Both buildings are the same size, standing 30’x100’x8.5’ and featuring Galvalume gable roofs with 0.5:12 pitches, but they contain different storage unit mixes inside.

The first metal mini storage building features (3) 10’x20’ units, (14) 10’x15’ units and (3) 10’x10’ units, all of which have 9’x7’ framed door openings. The second self-storage building houses (10) 10’x10’ units and another (10) 10’x20’ units, all of which also have 9’x7’ framed door openings. Offering each enter access into his or her storage unit is one of (40) 9’x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors with stainless-steel latch hardware.

Both Regency Storage Systems metal buildings have gutters and downspouts that help keep moisture from collecting on the roof or near the foundation, and the roof panels also feature DripX condensation control. A 115-mph wind load and a 4.2-psf roof snow load are additional customizations made in line with local building codes.

Located in Bandera County, Lakehills is part of the San Antonio metro area. It lies about 12 miles southeast of Bandera and about 30 miles outside Downtown San Antonio.
