
Mini Storage Outlet supplied these (2) pre-engineered steel mini storage buildings for a customer in Pickford Township, Michigan.
The first building stands 30’x120’x8.5’ and has a 0.5:12 roof pitch overhead, it houses (24) rentable storage units, all of which are 10’x10’ in size with 9’x7’ openings. The second building boasts an additional (6) 10’x10’ units with 9’x7’ openings, giving the mini storage complex a total of (30) rentable units. Distributed among the buildings are (48) 9’x7’Janus Model 650 mini storage doors with stainless steel latches. Additional features of this building project include Michigan engineer-stamped drawings, wedge anchors and fasteners, 29-gauge partition panels with Galvalume finishes and gutters and downspouts, which help divert water away from the building roof and foundation. A strong 2 5/8” WMP-VRR roof vapor barrier is also installed overhead to reduce condensation.
With respect to the climate of the Pickford Township area, the metal mini storage complex boasts a wind speed of 115 mph C, a ground snow load of 60 lbs. and a roof snow load of 42 lbs. Located in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula’s Chippewa County, Pickford Township is located about 46.4 miles from Mackinaw and about 28.2 miles from Brimley.
