Prefabricated Mini Storage Buildings Supplied in Warrior, Alabama

Regency Steel Buildings, Inc., fabricated and supplied this pair of pre-engineered steel mini-storage buildings in Warrior, Alabama, in May of 2022.

Now serving as a self-storage facility, the (2) buildings contain a combined (30) rentable storage units that generate a regular stream of revenue for the business owner. Durable and easy to raise, the first building in the complex, Building A, is 60’x40’x9.5’, while the second structure, Building B, is 10’x140’x8.5’/7.67’. Both have hardy Galvalume roofs with 0.5:12 pitches overhead, although Building A’s roof has a gable-style design, and Building B’s roof has a single-slope style.

Building A houses (8) 10’x15’ units and (8) 10’x10’ units, all of which have 9’x7’ framed door openings. Building A also features an insulation package that keeps stored goods at consistent temperatures. On its roof, it has 6” of insulation, and its walls contain 4”. There is also a vapor inhibitor that acts as a layer of protection against condensation.

Inside Building B is (14) 10’x10’ storage units with 9’x7’ framed door openings, and each storage unit has one of (30) 9’x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors with stainless-steel latches offering access inside. The self-storage facility also has (2) 4070 openings holding (2) 4070 insulated half-glass entry doors with panic exits, closers, and lever locks. Building B also has DripX condensation control on its roof, helping it stay watertight.

Heavy-duty 26-gauge hallways give renters access to their individual storage units, and 29-gauge partitions with Galvalume finish cut the inside of the mini-storage buildings into separate storage units. The steel self-storage buildings also have 3.5-psf roof snow loads and 115-mph wind loads in accordance with local building codes.

Located in north-central Alabama, the city of Warrior extends into Blount and Jefferson counties. A northern suburb of Birmingham, the city sits about a 30-mile drive from Springville.
