Regency Steel Buildings supplied this prefabricated steel mini storage building for a customer in Prescott Valley, Arizona in November of 2020.
Engineered by Regency Steel, the insulated, energy-efficient mini storage building offers unmatched strength and durability, resulting in superior protection for assets housed inside. The self-storage facility is an expansive 80’x630’x16’ in size and offers higher overhead clearance than traditional mini storage buildings deliver.
The roof of the self-storage center is comprised of rugged Galvalume steel and has a slight 0.5:12 pitch. Inside, it has a layer of R-3 insulation. The insulation keeps renter goods stored at consistent temperatures, and it also leads to lower heating and cooling bills for the business owner.
There are (80) rentable storage units found throughout this facility, and each has its own point of entry. Found throughout the property are (12) 3’x7’ walk door openings enclosing (12) 3070 Janus Model 650 steel entry doors and (68) 12’x14’ framed openings.
Other notable features and customizations include wainscoting along the left and right end walls, which enhances the building’s aesthetics, and several climate-related accommodations including a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 30.1-pound snow load. A fast-growing community in north-central Arizona, Prescott Valley is part of Yavapai County. It sits 8 miles east of Prescott and about 85 miles north of Phoenix.
