Regency Steel Buildings was pleased to supply these (5) pre-engineered self-storage buildings for a customer in Rupert, Idaho, in early October of 2019.

Comprised of rugged, durable steel parts, the (5) mini storage buildings together function as a self-storage business featuring (82) separate storage units. All (5) metal buildings vary in size, with the first standing 45’x168’x16’ once raised, the second, 20’x100’x8.5’, the third, 30’x100’x8.5’, the fourth, 20’x100’x8.5’, and the fifth, 30’100’x8.5’.

The first mini storage building has high overhead clearance, making it suitable for RV and other oversize storage needs, and all (5) buildings have corrosion-resistant Galvalume roofs with 0.5:12 pitches overhead. Distributed across the mini storage facility, providing access to each rentable unit, are (82) framed openings, among the (12) 12’x14’ openings enclosing (12) 12’x14’ mini storage doors and (70) 9’x7’ framed openings, each featuring one of (70) 9’x7’ metal mini storage doors.

All (5) metal self-storage buildings also feature several characteristics that make them particularly well-suited for Idaho’s variable climate, including wind speed ratings of 115 mph and snow loads of 30 pounds. Part of the Burley, Idaho, micropolitan statistical area, Rupert is located in southern Idaho’s Minidoka County. The community sits about 5 miles from Acequia and about the same distance from Paul, Idaho.
