Regency Steel Buildings sourced this pre-engineered steel mini storage building in Russell Springs, Kentucky, in March of 2019.
Energy efficient and low maintenance, the building is comprised of rugged, hardwearing steel parts and now serves as a mini storage facility. Standing an expansive 35’x115’x9.5’ in size, the storage building offers reliable protection for stored goods and assets, and a Burnished Slate-colored roof with a 3:12 pitch sits overhead, helping guard against damage and corrosion.
Distributed throughout the metal self-storage facility are (28) framed openings ranging broadly in size. Included are (3) 3’6”x7’ openings enclosing (3) 3’6”x7’ mini storage doors, (6) 4’x7’ framed openings enclosing (6) 4’x7’ mini storage doors, (4) 8’6”x7’ openings housing (4) 8’6”x7’ mini storage doors and finally, (15) 9’x7’ openings, each enclosing one of (15) 9’x7’ mini storage doors.
An insulation package comprised of R-19 roof insulation and R-13 wall insulation serves as another key feature, and it helps the interior of the self-storage facility maintain consistent temperatures for stored goods. A 20-pound snow load and a 105-mph wind load serve as supplemental accommodations made in adherence to local building code requirements.
Known as the gateway to Lake Cumberland, Russell Springs is the largest municipality in south-central Kentucky’s Russell County. The community sits just southwest of Liberty and roughly 30 miles west of Somerset.
