The latest in a series of metal self-storage buildings supplied for the same client for use in Mississippi, this newest mini storage building is 60’x205’x9.5’ and serves traditional storage needs. Comprised of high-quality steel parts, the insulated, climate-controlled metal building provides reliable protection for renter goods, and overhead, it features a hardy Galvalume gable roof with a modest 1:12 pitch.

Inside, the building features (81) rentable storage units broken down as follows.

• (2) 10’x5’ storage units with 8’x7’ framed door openings
• (2) 7.5’x5’ storage units with 4’x7’ framed door openings
• (38) 10’x10’ storage units with 8’x7’ framed door openings
• (39) 10’x15’ storage units with 8’x7’ framed door openings.

There are 5’ painted hallways systems that offer access into each storage unit, and there are also heavy-duty 29-gauge partitions separating the storage units inside the building. Each storage unit also has its own private door. In total, the self-storage business has (2) 4’x7’ and (79) 8’x7’ Janus Model 650 mini storage doors, and of which have paint and stainless-steel latch hardware.

The self-storage business also has (5) 4’x7’ traditional walk doors that provide general access into the building. Inside the roof and walls are 4” of insulation with WMP-VRR facing, which keeps the interior comfortable and leads to lower heating and cooling bills. There are also gutters and downspouts along the self-storage business’s roof, helping control and prevent condensation.

The building also has a high, 158-mph wind load in consideration of the strong wind and storm activity that comes through the area. Located in southeastern Mississippi’s Jackson County, Vancleave is part of the Pascagoula metro area. It sits about 20 miles northeast of Biloxi and 18 miles northwest of Pascagoula.
