Regency Steel Buildings supplied this prefabricated mini storage building in Lincoln, Rhode Island, in July of 2022.
In addition to an existing Regency Steel Buildings mini storage building already on the property, this new metal mini storage building stands 20’x340’x8.5’ and contains (51) storage units available for rent. Fabricated to match the other self-storage building at the address, the new structure features a durable Galvalume gable roof with a modest 0.5:12 pitch overhead that has DripX condensation control pre-applied to it.
Inside the self-storage building are (17) 10’x20’ storage units with 9’x7’ framed door openings and (34) 10’x10’ storage units, also with 9’x7’ framed door openings. There are also (70) 9’x7’ mini-storage doors with stainless-steel latch hardware distributed throughout the mini-storage building.
Other notable upgrades include gutters and downspouts along the roof line, which help disperse moisture away and prevent condensation. The mini storage building also has a high, 132-mph wind load and a 30.24-psf roof snow load in compliance with local building codes.
Located in northern Rhode Island, the town of Lincoln is part of Providence County. The community sits just north of Providence and contains several smaller villages including Albion, Manville, Lime Rock, Lonsdale, Fairlawn, Quinnville, and Saylesville.
