Regency Steel Buildings supplied these (3) self storage buildings in Freeland, Michigan, in April of 2021, for a repeat customer.
Durable, built to last and easy to erect, the (3) Regency Storage Systems mini storage buildings together function as a self-storage business. The first structure, Building A, is 30’x90’x8.5’ and contains (18) 10’x15’ storage units with 8’x7’ framed door openings, while the second building, Building B, is 30’x110’x8.5’ and boasts (22) 10’x15’ storage units with 8’x7’ framed openings. The third and final building, Building C, is 30’x150’x8.5’ and contains (30) 10’x15’ storage units with 8’x7’ framed door openings.
Each storage unit has its own door, and in total, the self-storage facility features (70) 8’x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors with stainless-steel latches. All (3) mini storage buildings offer superior strength and durability, and overhead, each features a durable Galvalume gable roof with a 0.5:12 pitch. There are also moveable 26-gauge partition panels that serve as dividers between the storage units.
Other upgrades and customizations include DripX condensation control pre-applied to the roofs of the mini storage buildings and gutters and downspouts, which prevent rain and snow from pooling on their roofs or near their foundations. A 29.4-psf snow load and a 1150mph wind speed rating keep the mini storage buildings in compliance with local building codes.
