Regency Steel Buildings engineered this pair of identical metal self-storage buildings in Odessa, Missouri, in August 2022.
Featuring (62) storage units between them, the metal mini storage buildings are each 30’x150’x8.5’ and ideal for traditional self-storage needs. Each steel building has a gable roof with a 0.5:12 pitch, and each roof has DripX condensation control pre-applied to it, helping prevent water damage.
Between them, the self-storage buildings have the following mix of storage units.
• (10) 10’x30’ storage units with (2) 9’x7’ framed door openings
• (8) 10’x20’ units with 9’x7’ door openings
• (20) 10’x15’ units with 9’x7’ door openings
• (14) 10’x10’ units with 9’x7’ door openings
Regency also included (62) 9’x7’ mini storage doors with stainless-steel latches when delivering these buildings, giving each renter private access into his or her storage unit.
The self-storage buildings have other customizations, including gutters and downspouts. They also comply with the building codes in place at the build site, which the client verified ahead of time, and has a 20-psf snow load and a 115-mph wind rating.
Located in Lafayette County in eastern Missouri, Odessa is part of the Kansas City metro area. It sits about 45 minutes from Downtown Kansas City and about a 60-mile drive from Sedalia.
