Self-Storage Buildings in Mead, Colorado

Regency Steel Buildings provided these (2) pre-engineered self-storage buildings in Mead, Colorado in November of 2020.

Now undergoing use as a self-storage facility, the (2) Regency Storage Systems metal buildings feature top-quality steel construction, resulting in reliable protection for assets stored inside them. The first mini storage building, Building A, is 40’x320’x9.5’, while the second, Building B, is 20’x380’x9.5’.

Both self-storage buildings have attractive Tan exteriors, and both also have durable, corrosion-resistant Bronze-colored gable roofs with 0.25:12 pitches and DripX condensation pre-applied to their panels. Inside Building A are (11) 10’x12’ storage units with (11) 8’x8’ framed door openings, (10) 10’x10’ units with (10) 8’x8’ door openings, (14) 10’x15’ units with (14) 8’x8’ openings and (14) 10’x20’ storage units, each of which has one of (14) 9’x9’ framed door openings.

Inside Building B are (20) 5’x10 units with (20) 4’x8’ framed door openings and (66) 10’x10’ units, each with one of (66) 8’x8’ framed openings. Each storage unit has its own door, and distributed between the (2) metal mini storage buildings are (20) 4’x8’ Model 650 mini storage doors, (101) 8’x8’ Model 650 mini storage doors and (14) 9’x9’ Model 650 mini storage doors. All doors in the facility are Bronze in color and have stainless-steel latch hardware, and the buildings also have 29-gauge partition panels serving as dividers between storage areas.

Additional customizations include gutters and downspouts, which help prolong the life of the building by keeping moisture from collecting atop or near it, and several climate-related enhancements. Both mini storage buildings have 115-mph wind loads and 30.1-psf snow loads.

Located in northern Colorado, Mead is part of Weld County. It lies about 35 miles north of Downtown Denver and about 25 miles from Fort Collins.
