Durable, sustainable and easy to erect, the metal building offers superior protection for goods stored inside and is an expansive 40’x130’x8.5’ once raised. Engineered by Regency Steel Buildings, the mini storage building now serves as a self-storage facility and generates a regular stream of revenue for its owner.

Brilliant White in color, the mini storage building has protection overhead in the form of a heavy-duty Galvalume gable roof with a 0.5:12 pitch. The roof also has DripX condensation control pre-applied to its roof panels, which helps keep the building watertight. Inside are (26) 10’x’20’ storage units with 9’x7’ framed door openings, with each door opening enclosing one of (26) 9’x7’ Royal Blue Model 650 mini storage doors with stainless-steel latches.

Other customizations and key features include 29-gauge partitions, which separate each storage unit from the next, and gutters and downspouts along the roof, which divert water and snow away from the rooftop and the building’s foundation. A 42-psf snow load and a 115-mph wind load boost durability with regard for the climate characteristics of the area while keeping the mini storage building in compliance with local building codes.

Located in west-central Minnesota, the city of Osakis had land in Douglas and Todd counties. It sits about 120 miles northwest of Minneapolis and about 57 miles northwest of St. Cloud.
