Seven Self-Storage Buildings Supplied in Wellington, Colorado

Regency Steel Buildings fabricated and delivered these (7) metal mini storage buildings to a client in Wellington, Colorado, in August 2022.

The buildings now serve as part of a self-storage facility that caters to renters with traditional, RV and other storage needs. All facility buildings have attractive Light Stone paint and matching steel roofs with 1:12 pitches, and several of them also feature wainscoting along some or all exterior walls.

The sizes and unit mixes found within the steel buildings delivered were as follows.

Buildings A & B
Buildings A & B are each 50’x120’x8’6”, and each building contains the following.
• (24) 10’x25’ units with 9’x7’ framed door openings

Building C
Building C is 20’x120’x8’6” and contains the following.
• (24) 10’x10’ units with 9’x7’ door openings

Building D
Building D is 40’x120’x8’6” and contains the following.
• (24) 10’x20’ units with 9’x7’ door openings

Building E
Building E is 24’x120’x7’/9’ and contains the following.
• (12) 10’x24’ units with 9’x7’ door openings

Building F
Building F is 30’x30’x11’ and contains the following.
(3) 10’x30’ units with 9’x10’ door openings on both ends

Building G
Building G is 15’x210’x8’6”/9’75” and contains the following.
(21) 10’x15’ units with 9’x7’ framed openings

There are (132) Model 650 mini storage doors distributed among the (7)-building mini storage complex, all of which are Bronze in color. Other customizations include 29-gauge partitions that function as dividers between storage units and gutters and downspouts along the buildings’ roofs, which help protect against condensation and water damage. Fabricated to comply with the building codes in place in the area, the self-storage buildings also feature 25.2-psf snow loads and high, 120-mph wind ratings.

Situated within north-central Colorado’s Larimer County, the town of Wellington sits about a 36-mile drive from Greeley and a 14-mile drive from Fort Collins.
