Durable, damage-resistant and easy to maintain over its lifetime, the building stands 20’x120’x8.5’ in size and now serves as a self-storage facility. Guarding against corrosion and the elements from above is a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 0.5:12 pitch, and (56) framed openings serve as additional features. Included are (8) 5’x10’ openings, (20) 10’x10’ openings, (8) 4’x7’ openings, each equipped with one of (8) 4’x7’ mini storage doors, and, finally, (20) 9’x7’ framed openings, each enclosing one of (20) 9’x7’ metal mini storage doors.
The mini storage facility also features several accommodations added in consideration of the Sherrill area’s variable climate and sometimes heavy seasonal snowfall, among them a high, 60-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.
