A past Regency Steel Buildings customer wanted to erect a new storage building in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and ordered this new Regency Steel building kit to create it.
Spacious, modern and easy to access, the 30’x60’x12’ metal storage building has 4” of WMP-VRR-faced insulation in the roof and walls that helps regulate interior temperatures, keeping them ideal for storage purposes. Charcoal exterior paint and a combination of Gray, Charcoal and Burnished Slate trim boost the building’s exterior appeal, while gutters and downspouts drain water from the roof, helping prevent condensation and leaks.
The metal storage building has (4) doors, which include (2) 10’x10’ insulated overhead doors and (2) White walk doors with lever locks. Between the roof and wall insulation and the insulated doors, the building is highly energy-efficient, making it well-suited for storage use while keeping the owner’s energy bills low.
Other customizations include an upgraded, 123-mph wind rating and a 4-psf roof snow load. Situated along the Mississippi River, the city of Baton Rouge is Louisiana’s second-largest in terms of population. It sits roughly 80 miles from New Orleans.
