Regency Steel Buildings supplied these (2) prefabricated self-storage buildings in Butte, Montana in March of 2021.
Durable and secure, the Regency Steel buildings together undergo use as a self-storage facility. Comprised of top-of-the-line steel components, they offer unmatched structural integrity, with the first mini storage building 20’x150’x7.667’/8.5’, and the second, 40’x130’x8.5’.
Overhead, both mini storage buildings feature corrosion-resistant Galvalume roofs with 0.5:12 pitches, but the first building has a single-slope roof and the second, a gable roof. Between the (2) buildings are (41) rentable storage units. The first steel mini storage building contains (15) 10’x20’ storage units, each of which has one of (15) 9’x7’ framed openings, and the second contains (26) 10’x20’ units, each of which holds one of (26) 9’x7’ framed openings. Each framed opening encloses one of (41) 9’x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors that grants each renter private access into his or her storage unit.
Regency Storage Systems added a number of upgrades and customizations during engineering, including gutters and downspouts and DripX condensation control on the roof, which together help guard against moisture and condensation. A 30.1-psf snow load and a 115-mph wind load are additional customizations that keep the self-storage buildings compliant with local building codes.
The fifth-largest city in Montana, Butte is part of Silver Bow County. It sits about 68 miles from Helena and about 24 miles southeast of Anaconda, Montana.
