Regency Steel Buildings was the proud supplier of this pre-engineered steel self-storage building in Vernon, New York.
Rugged, long-lasting and expansive, the building boasts a finished size of 20’x400’x8.5’, and it now functions as a self-storage facility. Durable and low-maintenance, the storage building features a rugged Galvalume roof with a 0.5:12 pitch overhead, which helps protect stored goods while guarding against corrosion and moisture-related damage.
Distributed throughout the metal self-storage center are (200) 7’x7’ framed openings, each of which encloses one of (200) 7’x7’ doors, and the facility also features several enhancements made in adherence of local building code requirements and in consideration of the climate patterns typical of the area. These include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 42-pound snow load.
Situated along the western side of New York’s Oneida County, the town of Vernon is home to a smaller village, also called Vernon. The community lies roughly 16 miles west of Utica and about 13 miles west of New Hartford.
