Mini Storage Buildings Supplied in Waterloo, Iowa

Regency Steel Buildings supplied these (3) steel mini storage buildings for a buyer in Waterloo, Iowa in June of 2014.

Desert sand in color with forest green trim and topped with Galvalume roofs, the buildings together create a mini storage complex. Building A boasts a finished size of 40’x60’x8.5’ and has a 0.5:12 roof pitch, Building B stands 30’x60’x8.5’ and has a 0.5/12 roof pitch, and Building C stands 30’x60’x8.5’ and also has a 0.5:12 roof pitch.

Additionally, Building A contains (4) 10’x10’ units with 9’x7’ framed openings and (10) 10’x20’ units with 9’x7’ openings, Building B has (3) 10’x10’ units with 9’x7’ framed openings and (10)10’x15’ units with 9’x7’ framed openings, and Building C features (6) 5’x10’ units with 4’x7’ openings and (10) 10’x15’ units with 9’x7’ openings. Together, the buildings have a total of (37) 9’x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors, (6) 4’x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors and additional features that include Iowa engineer stamped drawings, wedge anchors and fasteners, 29-gauge partition panels with a Galvalume finish, gutters and downspouts and a 3” insulation vapor barrier system to prevent condensation from forming in the roofs.

In consideration of the climate and seasonal snowfall experienced in Waterloo, the buildings were designed with wind speeds of 90 mph, ground snow loads of 30 lbs. and roof snow loads of 21 lbs.

The City of Waterloo is located within Black Hawk County, in north-central Iowa. It lies about 109 miles from Des Moines and 8 miles outside Cedar Falls.
