Regency Steel Buildings supplied this steel mini storage building for a customer in Watertown, New York, in mid-November of 2013.
The 20’x70’x8.5’ mini storage building is hunter green in color and has hunter green trim, and is covered with a Galvalume roof with a 0.5:12 roof pitch. It houses (7) rentable mini storage units, all of which are 10’x20’ with 9’x7’ framed openings. Each opening is covered by one of (7) 9’x7’ Janus Model 650 mini storage doors, all of which are continental brown in color.
Additional features of the prefabricated mini storage complex include New York engineer-stamped drawings, wedge anchors and fasteners and 29-gauge partition panels with a Galvalume finish.
Watertown experiences a humid-continental climate, and is prone to substantial precipitation year-round including seasonal snowfall more than four times the national average. With this in mind, the metal mini storage building was designed with a wind speed of 90 mph, a ground snow load of 60 lbs. and a roof snow load of 45 lbs.
The City of Watertown is located south of the Ontario, Canada border and sits within Jefferson County, in northern New York. It lies about five miles from Brownville and five miles from Calcium.
