Regency Steel Buildings secured these (2) prefabricated metal self-storage buildings for a customer in Weatherford, Texas, in March of 2019.
Together, the buildings function as a mini storage complex. Constructed using rugged, high-end steel parts, the first metal mini storage building stands 20’x160’x8.5’ in size, while the second and smaller of the buildings stands 10’x140’x8.5’ in size. Overhead, each one boasts a heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel roof with a traditional mini storage 0.5:12 roof pitch, and distributed throughout the self-storage facility are (29) 9’x7’ framed openings that function as walk doors.
Enhancements added during construction that help the buildings comply with local building codes include 115-mph wind speed ratings and 5-pound snow loads. Part of Parker County, the city of Weatherford is a part of northeastern Texas. The community sits about 25 miles west of Fort Worth and about 44 miles west of Arlington.
