Mini Storage Building Kit in West Monroe, Louisiana

Regency Steel Buildings supplied these (3) metal mini storage buildings in West Monroe, Louisiana, in 2015.

The first (2) are single-slope buildings, and stand 20’x50’8.5’ and 20’x80’x8.5’, respectively. The third building is 30’x100’x8.5’ in size and features a gabled design. Inside the first building are (5) 10’x20’ rentable storage units, while the second building houses (8) 10’x15’ units and (6) 10’x20’ units. The third metal mini storage building is home to (18) 10’x15’ rentable units and an additional (6) 5’x10’ storage units.

All (3) steel mini storage buildings have insulated roofs. Also included in this mini storage facility project are (11) 9’x7’ doors with stainless steel latches, engineer-stamped building permit drawings and anchor bolt plans, and an erection guide on the building process. All bolts, screws and hardware are also included, as is a sealant package and roof and wall sheeting, bracing and trim. The third and largest building also features gutters and downspouts, which aren’t necessary on the first two buildings due to their single-slope designs.

The West Monroe area is prone to heavy precipitation throughout the year and with the region’s typical climate and weather patterns in mind, all (3) buildings were engineered with wind speeds of 115 mph, ground snow loads of 30 lbs. and roof snow loads of 21 lbs.

Located within Louisiana’s Ouachita Parish, West Monroe sits about 9 miles outside Richwood and 8 miles from Lakeshore.
